 BED OCCUPANCY RATE
Data Definition:
 The percentage of available beds which have been occupied over a given period. It is calculated by dividing the number of occupied bed days for the period, by the number of available bed days for the period, and expressing the result as a percentage. It is a measure of the intensity of hospital resources utilized by in-patients.
